Douglas Trail

Douglas State Trail is a 12.5-mile trail that runs through the little hamlet of Douglas and links Rochester to the northern section of Pine Island. There are two separate paths: paved and natural surface.  

Horseback riders, hikers, cyclists, and inline skaters have access to routes where they can enjoy the scenery. You may also ride your snowmobile along the natural surface path in the winter! Douglas State Trail is a refreshing recreation and relaxation option in Rochester. 

LTS Brewing Company

LTS Brewing Company is a local brewery with their own food truck. The brewery was opened in 2015 by Brandon Schulz and Jeff Werning. The name comes from the phrase “Life’s Too Short.” 

This local brewery in Rochester, MN specializes in making in-house beverages. LTS Brewing makes craft beer, sour beer, hard seltzer, and craft soda. They also have fresh food from their own food truck. Life’s too short to drink bad beer, so stop by LTS Brewing this evening! 

Quarry Hill Nature Center

Quarry Hill Nature Center is a wonderful place to learn about nature and enjoy the outdoors. It is a 329-acre park featuring 8 miles of paved and hiking paths, a pond, and cave. The cave was a former cellar built in 1882. 

Hiking, fossil searching, bird viewing, canoeing in the pond, and nature photography are just a few of the activities available when visiting the park. The nature center has a variety of exhibits and live animals. Visit the Quarry Hill Nature Center website for more details.
