Mayo Civic Theatre

The Mayo Civic Center is the go-to place in southern Minnesota for any local, regional, national & international entertainment, social and sporting opportunities. Not only are they known for offering an incredible diversity of entertainment, but also for combining that with world-class service. The doors of the Mayo Civic Auditorium, as it was first known, were opened in 1939. The initial purpose of the venue was to host athletic events in their 1,700-seat arena, and to showcase fine arts in their 1,340 seat theatre. Since it’s inception, there have been several momentous upgrades to the property such as a 25,200 square foot Exhibit Hall and a 40,000 square foot ballroom. There are plenty of shows and events scheduled, so be sure to check out their website to see their upcoming attractions!

Kinney Creek Brewery

If you are a fan of good craft beer and hard seltzers, then the Kinney Creek Brewery is the place for you! This locally owned brewery strives to provide a selection of craft beer and hard seltzers for patrons to sip on and relax. In 1922, the last brewery in Rochester was shut down due to prohibition, which lasted until 1933. It wasn’t until Donovan Seitz opened Kinney Creek Brewery in 2012 for a brewery to call Rochester home again. As of the time of writing this, they offer 17 beers taps and 25 hard seltzer taps. Being one of the first breweries in Rochester, this place is the perfect spot to go no matter the night!
