History Center of Olmsted County
The History Center of Olmstead County is an independent, not-for-profit organization that focuses on bringing people of all ages and backgrounds together for the opportunity to learn about the past with the use of interactive programs, exhibits, and more!
They have exhibits such as Self-Government in the Dakota and Ojibwe Nations and Olmsted County Service During World War II. Stop by if you have a love for history and want to meet others with the same interest.
Central Park
While it may not be that Central Park, you can still have fun hanging out in this beautiful area of Rochester at Central Park! The historical park was donated in 1856, the first public park in the city.
Central Park’s focal point of this park is its beautiful water fountain, which makes for a great “piggy bank” for hopeful guests. The current fountain was rebuilt in 1976. Amenities include horseshoes and a picnic shelter. Bring a blanket or rent one of the picnic areas and enjoy the natural beauty around you!
